HMMM my old pc case is not good for cooling...this case was custumed for silent AV pc ....need to change it....need more fresh air...........

i kepp my case always open with heatpipe on cpu, and with ocerclock it to 2,6 ghz to 3,5, like actually, it stay to 49 - 50° in game....2 fans, one 8 cm 2000 rmp, and one 12 cm 2500rmp...

Stable actually with it....

Do you really need water-cooling??

this case was custumed for silent pc(movies and music) not for gaming pc.... for using with fanless.(only psu fan)..rear 2 fans(700rpm) were not worked b4. and inside of case is stuck a seat of the lead or stuck a seat of isobutylene-isoprene rubber for Protection against vibration　then air intake is very small..... I hate fan noise but I want to get cooling..it is very difficult. I will back this case to movie pc...

hmmm i noticed that just I want to build a new case haha..

I think ATI RADEON HD 4850 is best for your rig.

best are ati 4870 ...but need over 500w psu..

also 9800gt and 9800gtx+ are good too..

9800gtx+ and 4870 need 2x12V(6pin)...need more power

and your cpu e8400 is good for oc...maybe 1.8g@oc over2.4g
is easy i think (yeows used e8400 with 3.6g he said lool )

thinking about total balance..not oc cpu>4850 is best

NAhhh Saki, Yeowz use now Q9400....
yeah best is 4870 with 512 or if you could 1Go. => cause after you can add one more with Crossfire...Upgrade possible in the futur..
You can found a powersupplie 750w or 800 W to 85 $...
Your CPUs can be Overclock Easily to 2.4ghz, Like Saki said, without trouble, and be stable in game, or over application.
Use ClokGen to set it...No more than 20% if you have not Big fans, or Heatpipe on CPU, Or Watercooler...
After, You will set your Memory and Bios to have a better link CPU=>Memory.
