There two ways u must download Free EA game batllefeld Heroes and get higher Status in this Game,lol M 1 Garand is realy Fun.
1 U must Put your veteran Status u can do this if u Have one of Battllefield series Game.

1. Make sure you have an EA Account

http://veteran.battlefield.com/Go here and add any game that you have played. In total, I have added 2, being Battlefield 2 and Battlefield Heroes. Once you have two games, it should show Battlefield Rank of 1.
3. At EA.com, go to your profile and go to add persona, if your gamertag is not listed. If it is, select your gamertag so it is highlighted.

The first time here it should ask you what persona you would like to use. Select your live gamertag. It will take you to the 'My Soldier' tab. It should look like the stat page in-game on Bad Company 2. Underneath the 'My Profile' section under 'My Soldier' you will see Veteran status. If you click on the link, it will bring up a page and show that you now also have Bad Company 2 linked as well. If you wait for a minute, the Veteran rank will go up to 1(or more, depends on how many games are added)
5. Once it shows the Veteran Rank of 1+, turn off the Xbox and restart the whole thing. This time when you start the game, you should get a message saying you have unlocked it. It will connect first to update your stats, and then give you the message.
I can confirm that having only Battlefield Heroes and Bad Company 2 works in getting the weapon - You do NOT have to be rank 2. On the website in step 4, you can see the list of games that count toward being a Vetaran.

Step 1: Go to "badcompany2.ea.com/login" by putting the URL into the address bar manually. Log in using your EA account information.
Step 2: You will most likely get a 404 page, and the URL in the address bar will have changed to "badcompany2.ea.com/Soldier". Manually change this to "badcompany2.ea.com/Stats", and go to the stats page for your account.
Step 3: The stats page will most likely be blank as if you hadn't fired up the game yet, but don't panic. To the right of the profile picture on your stats page is a link for "Veterans Status". Click this.
Step 4: You *may* have to click the Bad company 2 medal for it to light up, but this will add Bad Company 2 to your veteran count. The medal does not light up on the battlefield veteran site, but logging into the game confirms this does work.
Keep in mind: You need a veteran score of at *least* 2 to unlock the M1 in Bad Company 2. This means a total of 3 games. Bad Company 2 is one, but if you need a little extra help heroes what you can do:
1) Sign up for Battlefield Heroes badcompany2.ea.com/. It takes about 3 minutes, and automatically adds itself to your veteran count. You do not need to download and/or actually play the game, just sign up for an account.
2)Download the Battlefield 2 (PC) demo, and create a MP account. Again, you do not need to play a full game, just create the account, go to "veteran.battlefield.com, and add it as you would any other game by selecting Battlefield 2 from the drop down menu and adding in your account information.
Way two:
Download batllefield Heroes and get higher Rank u should get M 1 garand.
Just to mentioned this sistem is Buggy u can do all this staff and still not get Garand First way i try it but Site wont register mu Bettlefield 2 game second with Heroes i played few times only did not get higher rank YET.
