Punk Buster and Game Violations

When you guys will install Punk Buster to get rid of CHEATERS?

There are still some issues related to PB as u have to type pb_security 0 or run game "as Admin", but number of cheaters visiting DW servers is HUGE !!

~EKC~ 24/7 server has it allready installed and running with additional Game Violations streaming, which includes newest known cheats/hacks to get rid of CHEATERS that can actually join server with [SEC] and ruin the game...

If you guys are really into it, do not hesitate and contact me (Xfire: ekcpatolog) if help is needed in serious manner.

I hope Woods will be..., lets say "gamers home", where CHEATERS have NO place to stay anymore.

download PB updates tools (worked for me) from our website http://www.ekc-clan.net/download.php?fileID=7

1) yes turn cheat off
2) then turn even more cheats off
3) play (no cheats)

1.) If u run win vista, right click on FEARMP.exe go to compatibility tab and check "run as admin" (helps if u get kick by PB coz of OS privileges)

2.) Before u spawn write in console: pb_serurity 0 (helps if u get kicked by PB coz of INIT FAILURE bla bla)

3.) You can manually update PB USER files http://www.ekc-clan.net/download.php?fileID=7

4.) ENABLE PB in Fear Combat and your firewall

5.) If non of above helps, turn off your Cheats and F**k off

nothings help ^^ i know long time ago i have always update the pb from pb setup now no see fear by pb setup

ok vita, i found u in log and it say:
S2N VITA: Inadequate O/S Privileges
That means, that u are running game with no admin privileges and PB can not do its job, so you have been kicked.

SOLUTIONS:
a) log in user profile with Admin rights and run the game
b) right click on FEARMP.exe, choose "run as" and choose user with admin rights

(if this doesnt help u google "Punk Buster Inadequate O/S Privileges" for more info)

i think not

U think wrong, PB is not updated anymore, but integrated GameViolation script is. Have a look at http://game-violations.ggl.com/
it bans OTTO-TURKEY IP: 78.176.66.3 playing untouched on other [SEC] servers using cheats.
Its not hard to install, and PB is giving u possibility to control game thru WEBTOOL, so u can kick / ban / restart map and many more even if u not present in game (u dont have to have it installed actually).

Thx for this, but i am talking with some Admin manager of PB, and they have not the intention to back on FEAR.
MLD BBT try to see with them too...

You can only have a manual update to your PB ban list, like on SEC, .

Second problem is PING. When PB is install, you loose 10% or +
Then when you check by console ping up +10% or +15%, we have notice this with RAZO.

So PB will be good, BUT i dont want to see SAKURA or TC ( the far members to our clan) have 250-270 ping...

I will try to set it, and see if it's interesting.

In the Gameviolation website, i am registered since a long time, and the ban list is the same since 1 years...

Actually some cheater know how to change keys and guild...

btw: OTTO-TURKEY and few others have been added in pbbans.dat by GV
